Riley Marler

Growing up just outside of Camrose, Alberta, Riley developed a passion for volleyball at a young age. From ages 12–17, she competed in club volleyball in Camrose before playing her 18U season in Sylvan Lake. She continued her athletic career at the University of Alberta Augustana Campus, where she played for two seasons while also beginning her coaching journey as a U13 girls club coach. Following her time at Augustana, Riley transferred to the University of Alberta’s main campus to pursue her Bachelor of Education. She graduated in December 2023 and now works as a teacher in Leduc, where she combines her passion for education and athletics every day.

After completing her degree, Riley returned to club coaching with Precision Volleyball Club near Camrose, serving as assistant coach for the U18 girls team before moving into a head coaching role with the U16 team the following season. She is currently the head coach of the U18 girls program and continues to grow her experience developing competitive athletes and strong team cultures. Riley is excited to join ACE Volleyball Club this upcoming season and be closer to home while continuing to support athlete development. She is passionate about helping young athletes reach their full potential, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love for sport, and she looks forward to contributing positively to the club and its athletes.
