Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Ryan's volleyball journey began at U13 with teams such as Canada West, FVC, Elite West, and Canuck. Alongside his mother, Fritz Peters (the head coach), Ryan brings three years of assistant coaching experience, focusing on teamwork, fostering strong bonds, and nurturing enthusiasm among players. Embracing his passion for the sport, Ryan's coaching style emphasizes technical skills, instilling a love for volleyball, and fostering teamwork while cultivating a cohesive team culture. Outside of volleyball, he is pursuing mechanical and biomedical engineering at the University of Calgary.
