Dr. Adam Robinson

Chiropractor

Dr. Adam Robinson has been involved in the Strength and Conditioning community in Calgary since 2010, making professional and amateur athletes stronger, faster, and more injury resilient. During his extensive time working with athletes in the gym, he noticed a disconnect between the medical professional-athlete-coach team.

His dedication to human performance brought him to pursue a clinical education so he was able to serve the needs of his patients in all facets of life, no matter what their passions are. While getting his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he also earned his Masters of Science in Sports Medicine. This led him to gain invaluable experience working in a clinical setting with athletes of all sports.

Dr. Robinson has been trained in Active Release Techniques (ART), instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, manual joint mobilizations and manipulations. He is also a certified exercise trainer in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, a technique system originating from Prague utilizing the concepts of developmental kinesiology to reduce dysfunction and improve movement efficiency.

In addition to his clinical acumen, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is still involved in helping athletes reach their athletic potential.

With an elite understanding of biomechanics, and having worked with hundreds of volleyball athletes, from the gym to a clinical setting, Dr. Robinson is highly qualified to manage injuries as they happen, but more importantly to provide the athlete with education and tools on how to prevent them from reoccurring.

Having played high level lacrosse and football, he knows the frustration that comes with being limited due to pain, and will be by your side every step of the way. You will get top quality injury diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation from someone who will always have your long-term best interest in mind.
