Ava began her volleyball career in her last year of junior high. She went onto play for her high school team and played at Ace for U16-U18 where she was given a chance to learn some very wise and talented coaches. She got the opportunity to play middle, right side and outside and was pushed to her limits in each one. Trying different positions, she was able to develop a deeper understanding to the game and her responsibilities in varying positions. The skills and techniques taught to her at Ace brought her to this place in her career as a head coach!

Ava got the chance to coach with Stryker Sports, a skills program that helps develop players to go onto play competitively on school teams or club teams. She coached with them for two years and then got the opportunity to coach for Ace. Her passion for the sport has grown more and more with getting the chance to coach young athletes. She understands being a coach means you are someone to look up to, someone to learn from, and someone that will do everything they can to push you to grow and succeed. Ava looks forward to many coaching seasons ahead where she will continue to strive for her athletes to become the best version of themselves in volleyball as they can!
