Meredith Bambrick

U14 Aces White (Assistant Coach)

Meredith grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta and was introduced to volleyball at the age of 13 and immediately fell in love with the sport. As a high school athlete, Meredith played club, was invited to Team Alberta tryouts and the University of Alberta tryouts, but ultimately decided to focus on post-secondary education rather than continuing at a higher level volleyball. She is still committed to playing weekly and still loves the sport as much as she did as a teenager.

Meredith started coaching when she completed university and started working in a high school. She has been coaching for 20 years at the junior high and high school level. Assistant coaching this year with ACE, is the first club team Meredith has coached with.

Meredith believes in order for a team to be successful, the players and coaches need to have positive relationships. While developing skills is important, it is equally important to create an environment where kids can thrive, be a part of a team, learn how to work hard, improve their communication skills, develop their sportsmanship, and strive for excellence on and off the court.
