Chris is originally from Ontario. He began playing volleyball in elementary school. After playing four years of high school, and regional volleyball, Chris was recruited to Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario where he played three seasons. They placed respectfully at Nationals each of those seasons. After college, Chris began assistant coaching both boys and girls teams at the high school level, and was the Head Coach of the Canadore College Men's Varsity team for a season. His summers were spent competing in Open Level beach volleyball tournaments throughout Ontario.
After moving to BC, Chris continued playing men's league volleyball and beach volleyball in the Vancouver area. He was an Assistant Coach for the BCIT Men's Varsity team for two seasons.
Chris has enjoyed watching his daughters play both high school and club volleyball, and after a long hiatus, he is looking forward to getting back into coaching for Ace Volleyball Club.
