Aili started playing volleyball in middle school and played for her local volleyball club for 2 years before moving to Ace in 2020. She played Ace for three years, from U16-U18, and was awarded MVP in her final year of club. Aili played both libero and outside in U16, but stuck with outside for the rest of her club career. Aili has always loved the competitiveness and passion of the game, but playing for Ace taught her the importance of team bonding working together. She hopes to be able to teach young athletes these characteristics of the sport.
Although this is only her first year coaching club volleyball, she coached grade 7 and 8 volleyball at her local middle school for 2 years. Throughout this season she hope to build a solid foundation for young players and give them the support they need to reach their highest potential. Aili strives to create a comfortable and competitive environment to develop foundational skills.
