Alan has coached and played volleyball at high school and college level. Alan has also competed in volleyball at a provincial level and in some other sports at a provincial, national and world championship level. This has led him to experience the complexity of competition, the sorrow of disappointments at the provincial, national and world stage, including some well fought and sweet tastes of victories at the provincial and national level.
Through these experiences have formed Alans unique style and approach to “With winning in Mind.” This approach stress the importance and balance between; Mental, physical and team skills. I stress within my teams - positive attitude, effort and team as the foundation to competing at the highest volleyball level they can achieve and by following the process they enable their own successes.
