Mackenzie Anderson

Mackenzie Anderson

U14 Aces Red Head Coach

Mackenzie's volleyball career began with Coach Wildman. Mackenzie spent two years playing for Dave's original club before branching out to play for other clubs. Mackenzie then played several more years of volleyball, both beach and indoor before deciding to focus on attending university for nursing. Mackenzie played for a highly competitive school program where she was able to develop skills in other positions. Ultimately, Mackenzie chose not to play volleyball at a post-secondary level. However, she continued to play in competitive women's indoor and beach leagues, and still does this during her free time. Mackenzie has spent several years coaching with ACE, and currently works as a Registered Nurse. Mackenzie works as an adolescent psychiatric RN and has developed her philosophy for coaching that aligns with her professional philosophy which is that, kids do well if they can. This means that given the training, coaching, and skills to succeed and get better, they will. Mackenzie also developed ACE's 'get to know you' assessment which discusses the importance of athlete mental health prior to each season.
