Carys is returning to coach again with ACE this season. She began playing volleyball at Red Deer Lake School, a K-9 school just outside of Calgary. She became passionate about volleyball right from the start and won the championship in Grade 9. She attended Dr. EP Scarlett High School, playing on the senior team her last two years, again ending with a City Championship. Returning to Dr. E.P Scarlett in 2024 she coach the Jr. Girls volleyball team. Carys played five years of club volleyball, all with ACE and was an integral part of her U16 EP team who were Provincial Champions. She has spent every summer over the past five years in various volleyball training programs in addition to playing beach volleyball. Over the years, both in school and club volleyball, she has received numerous awards which is a reflection of her commitment to dedication, discipline, perseverance and teamwork.

Carys loves the technical aspect of volleyball and hopes to share her passion and love of the game with her team. She is committed to inspiring players to increase their desire to be the best player and teammate they can be. Carys is a big believer of setting goals and looks forward to motivating players to help them reach their full potential.
